Our work focused on creating a clear and cohesive interpretation approach that reflects the town’s historic character and urban form. The panels are designed as a connected family of graphics, supporting understanding of Knaresborough’s development, key landmarks, and local heritage.

The system establishes a consistent visual language for interpretation across the town, helping to guide visitors and residents through the narrative of place while reinforcing a strong sense of identity within the town centre.
